The Woods Bar is a cool bar and eatery with ambient laneway seating in Mitchelton's Blackwood Street precinct.

The northside sibling to The Oxford Taphouse (Bulimba) also has bar stools out the front, and plenty of cosy tables inside which are ideal for sampling their extensive beverage selection.

Specialising in local and international craft beer, wine and spirits, The Woods Bar also offers a substantial lunch and dinner menu with snacks in between.

There are ten taps at the bar including Zen, Stone & Wood, Manilla St, Willie Smith Cider, Young Henry's, Hoppy Puppy, Diablo Ginger Beer, and Riot Wine Co (Sauvignon Blanc or Sangiovese).

Highlights of the lunch menu include Woods cheeseburger, charred eggplant parmy, chicken schnitzel, Korean chicken wings as well as all day morsels such as Cajun cauliflower koftas, sauteed chorizo, fried pickles, popcorn chicken and rustic fries.

Items on The Woods Bar seasonal dinner menu are braised lamb shank, beetroot bourguignon, crispy pork belly, charred rib fillet and fresh market fish.
