Lifeline Shop

Located towards the top end of the main street of this Sunshine Coast hinterland town, the popular Lifeline Shop in Maleny is packed with great thrifting bargains. 

Spread across two floors, there’s loads of racks and shelves to sift through in search of that perfect piece.

On the ground floor is where you’ll find the majority of the pre-loved clothing for men and women, with a range of sizes, colours, shapes and styles on offer, and all perfect to rummage through. Plus, shoes, handbags and fashion accessories are on hand to pair with your selection to complete the look.

Upstairs on the mezzanine level, you’ll discover loads of good quality books alphabetically catalogued, ranging from fiction, non-fiction, cooking books, travel books, books on plants and gardening right through to heaps of children’s storybooks, celebrity autobiographies and even some DVDs and CDs – and all at very reasonable prices.

It’s here you’ll also be able to browse through a host of board games, boxed jigsaws, collectible dolls, and kids puzzles and toys – perfect if you’re staying in Maleny and want quick & easy, family-friendly, indoor activities in case the weather changes.

Shelves of pre-loved kitchenware and crockery are housed up here, too, along with manchester, bric-a-brac and children’s preloved clothing.

There’s a smattering of new clothing and general household items that change with the seasons around the shop. Think thongs & sunnies for a beach visit, hats for sun protection in the great outdoors, an assortment of household cleaning products, and the like. 

On display just inside the door in a glass cabinet is where the donated vintage jewellery can be found, and you never know what pearler will take your fancy.

Nice to know – As is common practice throughout all Lifeline Shops, keep an eye out for signage displaying which colour tags are on super special that day. A great way to nab an even better bargain.

Need to know – There is plenty of free, on-street parking in front of the store.
