The early settlers followed dirt tracks along Waterworks Road in order to reach Fish Creek for a picnic. Today The Gap is a large sprawling green suburb with plenty of parks, playgrounds, bike tracks and clear waterways to explore. With Mt Coot-tha on one side and Mt Nebo on the other, a cool vintage bar and al fresco eateries, this leafy suburb has become a popular suburb for families and nature lovers alike.
