Dirk's

Woolloongabba

Updated: Aug 25, 2026

Forget everything you think you know about hot dogs, because Dirk’s is giving the familiar fast-food favourite a fresh, flavour-packed makeover.

Now open in Woolloongabba, the new fast-casual concept starts with a choice of custom-developed beef or chicken cevap, or a plant-based option, tucked into a soft top-cut milk bun and finished with bold sauces and fresh, crunchy toppings. Each Dirk is built fresh to order right in front of you.

On the menu are signature creations including the Classic, topped with house tomato relish, mustard, pickles and red onion; the XO, loaded with XO bolognese, coriander and crispy shallots; the fiery Peri Peri; and the avocado-packed Cali.

You can also add chips, salad and a regular drink to your order, with selected menu items available as 2 for $8 or 4 for $15.

A range of Dirk's food options

Behind the big flavours is award-winning Australian chef and restaurateur Matt Wilkinson, whose produce-driven approach has helped transform a familiar favourite into something distinctly Dirk’s.

The best part? There’s more to Dirk’s than what’s in the bun.

Plates of food on a table

The brand has also built a purpose around helping dogs find loving homes through Dirk’s Loves Dogs. For every eligible full-price Dirk purchased in-store or through the Dirk’s website or app by an identified loyalty member, Dirk’s will contribute $1 to RSPCA Queensland, at no extra cost to the customer.
