Fiume Bar

Brisbane City

Fiume is the stunning rooftop bar of Crystalbrook Vincent, nestled under the Story Bridge at the Howard Smith Wharves, with sweeping views of the city skyline and the Brisbane river.

Open to both hotel guests and the general public, Fiume sits perched atop Crystalbrook Vincent with the striking backdrop of lit-up cliffs and adjacent to the hotel's rooftop infinity pool, with a bird's eye view of the hustle and bustle of the Howard Smith Wharves below.

There can be few finer places in Brisbane to sit on the terrace with its cool patio furniture and succulent pot plants, sipping on a cocktail and taking in the vistas and cool river breezes.

On the drinks list are a refreshing range of Spritz (including limoncello, Campari, Wild Plum, Guava & Lime or Lychee & Elderflower) and cocktails such as Waffle Toffee Espresso Martini (vodka, kahlua, wattle toffee liqueur and espresso), Basil Smash (gin.lemon, basil and sugar), Native Negroni (gin, vermouth and quandong liquer) or Pink Koala (eucalyptus vodka, cointreau, cranberry and lemon) as well as Classic Appertivos (Negroni, White Negroni and Americano), while to share there's Pimms or Sangria Jugs or CC & Dry. It's worth noting that Fiume sources its liqueurs locally from Mt Tamborine Distillery.

For beer drinkers, there's Peroni Leggera and Birra Moretti from Italy as well as a smattering of craft beers including one from Felons Brewing Co (their Howard Smith Wharves neighbour). Similarly, the concise wine list is a mix of Italian and boutique Australian wines, with sparkling from Italy, NZ and France.

Meanwhile, spirits are carefully sourced from around the world along with small batch Australian. There's gin from UK, Sweden Spain and Germany; vodka from Poland, France and Netherlands; whiskey from Isle of Skye, Highlands, Japan, Ireland and Canada; rum from Cuba, Caribbean, Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago, Guatemala and Venezuela and tequila from Mexico. There's also a small selection of mocktails and Italian soft drinks.

To accompany, there's a delicious Italian-flavoured bar menu, including the likes of fava bean, pea, mint and buffalo ricotta bruschetta, Noosa mushroom arancini, Polpetta (veal & pork meatballs, tomato sugo and smoked scamorza, artisan salumi and antipasti or "Mozzarella in Carrozza" (traditional egg soaked toasted sandwich with mortadela and basil).

Need to know - There is a dedicated lift that takes general public guests from street level to the bar.
