California Lane

Fortitude Valley

California Lane is the latest funky hidden laneway to be unveiled in Fortitude Valley. Named after California Café, a Brisbane institution that stood on the corner of Brunswick and McLachlan Streets for more than forty years, the legacy lives on with cool laneway destination.

California Lane has a relaxed, West Coast vibe – think palm trees, pastel walls and pink flamingos – with plenty of al fresco dining space.

Residents of the lane include King Tiki  (which is a combo of laneway tiki lounge and a barbershop opening onto Brunswick St), cocktail dessert bar The Stand, one of Brisbane's oldest restaurants Giardinetto's, Reverends Fine Coffee, Ltd Espresso, American Diner Co and Fat Dumpling.

Nice to know - In 2019 California Lane will welcome further tenants including a boutique
