SIFFREDI'S SPAGHETTI BAR HAS CLOSED.

Siffredi's is a chic contemporary spaghetti bar nestled in the base of Teneriffe's landmark historic London Woolstores.

A collaboration of 3 of Brisbane's best chefs, who hailed from Stokehouse Q, Siffredi's hits the mark with its changing seasonal menu and its Italian coast ambience.

Diners have a choice of  seating, either al fresco at the clusters of elegant white Bentwood chairs and tables on the terrace or European style, at the indoor bar.

Dainty starters (and bar snacks) include oysters (natural or with scampi caviar), LP's quality cured meats & pickles, Ora King Salmon with pickled rhubarb crostini or local artisan Danny's Bread with whipped macadamia cream.

A revolving menu of highly creative mains include dishes such as spaghetti with smoked roe, XO and carrot beurre noisette (pictured above); chilli, Korean chicken, broad beans and kimchi; saffron cream, asparagus charred onion & 36 month parmesan; tropical crayfish, pumpkin seed pesto and stuffed zucchini flower (pictured below) or park & fennel, shiitake mushroom and pickled radish.

And for sweets there's a choice of rhubarb and rose granita and raspberry or peach tarte tatin with pink peppercorn caramel.

Siffredi's carefully curated wine list features a range of Australian, NZ and Italian whites, reds, rose or sparkling wine by the glass or bottle as well as a selection of premium wines by the bottle only. From the latter you'll find Tuscan chianti, Tattinger champagne and chablis from Burgundy, Ventian 'Bianco Secco' along with a small selection from Victoria, the Barossa and NZ.

Otherwise, there's Peroni Traditionale or Leggera, Siffredi's Bellini, Negroni or Aperol Sprtiz, Limoncello, Grappa, Fernet Branca or Four Pillars Olive Leaf Gin & Strangelove Tonic as well as a small selection of boutique and Italian soft drinks.

Need to know - There is limited street parking nearby (some of it metered) otherwise catch a ferry to Teneriffe's Commercial Rd terminal, a 5 min walk away.
