Watercress Creek Olive Festival

Pine Mountain

Watercress Creek Olive Festival brings a dose of country hospitality and delicious local produce to the idyllic surrounds of Pine Mountain.

A perfect way to spend a Sunday, festival visitors have the opportunity to stroll through an olive grove and lime orchard, sample a range of fine cheese and wines and taste fresh and pickled olives, oils and other olive products.

District producers will be on hand to talk about their products as will local artists and craftspeople who will be selling their works while wood turners will demonstrate their craft, with the opportunity to purchase unique items freshly made from olive wood.

Then kick back and relax on the lawn under the shade of some of the district’s biggest and oldest trees and listen to the live entertainment by a talented young violinist and brass ensemble.

Nice to know – There’s also the opportunity to take in the magnificent views of the farms and rolling hills of the Brisbane River Valley with a helicopter ride.
