Palace James St Cinemas

Fortitude Valley

Palace Cinema James St is a boutique cinema complex in leafy James Street that is the centre for multicultural films, playing annual host to the majority of international film festivals.

Purpose built, its 7 state-of-the-art cinemas are bastions of comfort, understated style and cleanliness, including five brand new luxurious cinemas with handcrafted chairs from Spain,

And, like its Barracks counterpart, the cinemas are licensed for patrons to enjoy a beer or wine with the movie.

As with the Barracks, the Centro features a regular feast for the senses - ballets from The Bolshoi and Paris Opera Ballet and Operas from the Met.

While the plethora of eateries, bars and shops in the vicinity mean there is plenty to do before and after, it also means parking can be an issue so be prepared to arrive early and walk a little.
