Barrels & Stills

Hawthorne

Barrels & Stills in Hawthorne is a triple treat - a boutique bottleshop, providore, and book store* all in one!

Barrels & Stills, Hawthorne

Located on Riding Road, opposite Hawthorne Park and Jack Esplen Oval, the 'lifestyle store' offers a selection of fine wines, premium spirits, craft beers, and more.

The shop's shelves are lined with high quality wines from Australia and around the globe, along with premium spirits, from bespoke, small batch producers like Three Cuts Gin (Tasmania) to international distillers such as Eden Mill St Andrews (Scotland).

One wall is lined with fridges filled with wine already chilled, ready to take home and drink, as well as a small selection of craft beer such as Moo Brew (Tasmania) and Red Hill Brewery (Mornington Peninsula), plus Pagan Cider (Tasmania).

In one fridge and nestled in amongst the shelves, you'll find a variety of gourmet goods to complement your beverage of choice, from handcrafted, artisan cheese and charcuterie, to Kalamata olives, Persian feta and pickled figs, plus potato crisps in unique flavours like camembert, chorizo and capsicum, and dill pickle.

*Soon, you'll also be able to browse books scattered throughout the store. Supplied by Scrumptious Reads, expect books of an epicurean nature including books on cooking, wine, and design.

Also in the near future, Barrels & Stills will offer wine tastings upstairs on the mezzanine level.

Nice to know - Barrels & Stills has a 2nd bottle shop and wine bar in Woolloongabba.
