Runaway To Maleny

Balmoral Ridge

Ideally situated between Maleny and Montville, Runaway to Maleny is the perfect place to spend a night or two while exploring the Sunshine Coast hinterland.

Runaway to Maleny Balmoral Ridge

Nestled on two acres of pristine bushland beside Obi Obi Creek, this eco-friendly, affordable accommodation is a hidden gem. Jen and Ian, along with their son Finn, dog Hamish and puss Pasha, invite you to share their slice of paradise; with five pavilions available for stays of one night or more.

Accommodation includes private bedroom with king size bed, kitchenette, lounge, playroom (with pool table), toilet and patio overlooking lush surrounds; while just a hop and skip away, guests share an amenities building with amazing double shower (including a goldfish pond) and laundry. Guests are also welcome to use the beautiful bbq deck with built-in trampoline.

When not out exploring the charming villages and natural attractions of the hinterland, guests can relax and read a book, enjoy yoga with an on-site shala, take a walk along the creek (try to spot a platypus), take a dip in the private swimming hole and then destress in the creekside sauna.
