Generations Cafe

Sandgate

Featuring a tiki style patio & 1970s décor, Generations is a charming little retro cafe that warrants a nostalgic detour from town.

Here browns, golds and burnt orange tones permeate everything from the earthenware cups and plates to the vinyl swivel chairs, wallpaper and cushions.

While this is strictly a coffee and cake venue, there are other reasons to linger, such as the rack of magazines dating back to the 1960s, the brilliant children’s toy box with everything from blocks to barbie dolls and a shady spot beside the patio lounge with welcome bowl of water for the dog.
