Pixar's latest animated blockbuster is an epic fantasy adventure set in the rugged highlands of Scotland, with a stellar voice cast including Billy Connolly, Emma Thompson and Julie Walters.

In the tradition of the ancient lores and tales of epic battles that proliferated in these wild regions, Brave is the story of Merida, the skilled archer and strong-willed daughter of King Fergus (Connolly) and his Queen Elinor (Thompson). In an attempt to make her own way in the world she ignores ancient customs, unleashing the fury of three powerful and hoary old lords and chaos ensues.

Turning to an old witch (Walters) for help she is granted a wish that puts her own life in peril and thus the battle begins to undo the curse and find the true meaning of bravery before it's too late.
