Australia's greatest Shakespeare ensemble returns to Redland Performing Arts Centre (RPAC) on Saturday, September 2, with a fresh retelling of one of Shakespeare’s finest comedies - Twelfth Night.

Bell Shakespeare Twelfth Night

Bell Shakespeare returns to RPAC for one-night-only to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Twelfth Night’s publication, with this masterful reimagining of the much-loved romantic comedy.

Bell Shakespeare Twelfth Night

Twelfth Night tells the story of a shipwrecked aristocratic, Viola, who believes her twin Sebastian is lost at sea. Washed up in a strange new land, determined to survive, Viola disguises herself as a man named Cesario

Cesario finds work with Duke Orsino, only to fall head over heels in love with him. But Orsino is in love with Olivia, who - grieving for her brother - refuses all offers of romance. Until, that is, she meets Cesario.

A whirlwind of passion ensues, leaving no one unaffected, not even Olivia’s prudish housekeeper Malvolia, played by Jane Montgomery Griffiths (A Midsummer Night’s Dream).

Bell Shakespeare Twelfth Night

One of Shakespeare's most celebrated comedies, this dark collision of hidden identities and unrequited love, ultimately asks us to find light in the darkness.

Directed by Heather Fairbairn, this must-see retelling of Twelfth Night features all-new music by ARIA Award-winner Sarah Blasko.
