Miss Audrey Coffee

Bardon

MISS AUDREY COFFEE HAS CLOSED.

Miss Audrey Coffee is located in Bardon (in the foothills of Mt Coot-tha) where it blends effortlessly into the green surrounds of the suburban street.

The coffee nook sits prettily at the entrance to the very busy Miss Audrey Hair, established two years ago by Donna Condon.

There's a lovely sense of community here, with neighbours catching up, Mums enjoying a coffee after dropping kids off at the nearby school and locals calling in for a morning coffee on their way to work.

The decor at Miss Audrey Coffee is understated, the ambience relaxed and inviting. Timber tables and chairs, fresh flowers, lush green plants and hanging baskets all create a space where customers can catch their breath and enjoy some time out.

A recent career change has seen Donna's husband, Nic, introducing this cute little cafe and taking on the role of barista (which he does expertly and with obvious enjoyment). He welcomes everyone warmly and chats to his customers with the ease of someone who enjoys being around people.

Nic sources his beans from Padre Coffee Roastery in Noosaville and teas come from Melbourne based Larsen and Thompson. Those who enjoy a chai will be pleased to know that Budd Chai (also made by Padre Coffee) is served here. Noah's juices are also available.

A range of sweet goods is supplied by Gail Philogene's onsite catering company, Outlook Catering. We're talking friands, brownies, muffins, slices and delectable cakes - keep an eye out for the raspberry and yoghurt cake with cream cheese frosting and fresh raspberries.

The area is popular with cyclists, joggers and keen walkers who now have a great destination to look forward to - and Miss Audrey Coffee has prepaid coffee cards, making life easy for those who need to travel light.

So join those "in the know" and call in for a great coffee, a tasty morsel and friendly conversation. Or, savour your brew over the morning paper or one of the high end magazines on offer.

Good to know -  Miss Audrey Coffee has a loyalty card system and is dog friendly.
