Low n Slow Meat Co

Morningside

Low n Slow Meat Co is a stunning BBQ and meat lovers paradise located in the historic Colmslie riverside precinct of Morningside.

Part gourmet butchery and part smokehouse, Low n Slow, which occupies a massive architecturally designed pavilion, is a unique one stop shop for meat lovers and everyone from seasoned to first time smokers.

Low n Slow Meat Co is one of the first businesses to open at the new Rivermakers Precinct, the upcoming riverfront destination of 'Makers and Creators' (which will include a ceramic house and a craft brewery). The Heritage Quarter incorporates the site's historic buildings, including the towering red brick former Commonwealth Acetate of Lime Factory next door to Low n Slow.

Whether you're  foodie, a BBQ enthusiast or you just want to experience a different style of butcher shop in an amazing location, a visit to Low n Slow Meat Co is a must.

The one-stop BBQ shop has everything you could dream of under the one roof from fuel sauces and smokers for sale to international and Australian competition level handcrafted BBQ Rubs and Sauces, Low n Slow Cuts, and BBQ meats.

You can also purchase a massive range of ready-to-heat smoked meats, from racks of ribs to mouth-watering pulled pork, all smoked in-house on their state-of-the-art smokers and ready to pop in the oven.

And that's not all. Low n Slow Meat Co are also the go-to for speciality cuts of meat, amazing steaks and premium Wagyu, free-range lamb, pork and poultry, gourmet sausages, burgers, small goods and quality pantry products.

Low n Slow Meat Co can also cater for your special event, from self-catering Low n Slow BBQ for small events to food truck for larger events.

Fans of popular Brisbane burger chain Getta Burger will be happy to know that all of the ingredients that go into their burgers are available to purchase here, from 100% rump patties made fresh daily, to American cheese, burger buns, burger sauce and small batch pickles.

In a nutshell - Whilst Low n Slow Meat Co is the local go-to for eastsiders from Morningside to Hawthorne and Bulimba, it is a destination unto itself for meat and BBQ lovers and well worth travelling across town for.

*The heritage-listed site has previously been home to Hans Continental Smallgoods Factory, the Fairmile Naval Base and the Colmslie Migrant Hostel.
