LOADED FOOD CO HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.

Loaded Food Co is a unique foodie space in Ashgrove that is putting a fresh, healthy twist on fast food for the time poor. Behind the concept is owner Katie Townson and her team who are dedicated to making it easy to grab a bite to eat on the run.

With a great range of home-cooked food on offer, the only thing that may slow down a visit here will be deciding what to order.  Everything is baked and prepared on site by Katie, with a menu that includes fresh salads, home-made sausage rolls, gourmet sandwiches, frittatas, pastries to die for, luscious cakes, brownies, slices and so much more.

Lemon curd tarts with just the right amount of zing are a real treat or how about trying a "muffnut" (a cross between the humble muffin and a donut)? Those looking for gluten free options will be pleasantly surprised with the variety of options available. Kids are also catered for with regulars like "frog in the pond" and chocolate crackle teddies proving popular.

With a menu that changes daily, nobody is going to get bored with the options at Loaded Food Co. Daily offerings are posted to Facebook and Instagram early each morning, making it easy to phone through an order ahead of pick up.

Staff will even run orders to customers' cars when they call to collect and with wireless pay pal, there's no need to even get out of the car - perfect for commuters on their way to work, busy Mums with kids on board and those caught up in the busy daily grind. Alternatively, drop by for a coffee and check out the delights that Katie’s whipped up for the day.

Katie is a firm believer in supporting local businesses, sourcing meat from Meat at Billy's, fruit and veg from Ashgrove Fresh, seafood from Rufus King Seafoods and bread from local bakeries.

Inside, a feature wall showcases cool graffiti art by Drapl of Graffiti Murals and a warm welcome awaits from bubbly Katie and her staff. Seating consists of a long church pew, table and chairs and a breakfast bar with tractor seats where customers can watch the world go by whilst waiting for their order or enjoying a quick bite to eat.

The beans at Loaded Food Co are roasted by coffee connoisseurs at Black Sheep Coffee in Woolloongabba, T2 teas and Katie's homemade chai are served, along with a range of milkshakes and smoothies.
