Little Digs

Fortitude Valley

Little Digs has closed and moved to Racecourse Road, Hamilton and is now known as Pancha

Little Digs is a petite plant-based cafe that is big on flavour offering an all-day menu of delicious vegan eats.

Nestled on a side street off Wickham in the Valley, the light-filled cafe boasts a relaxed, tropical vibe with a vibrant mural of parrots, and plenty of potted plants.

Breakfast fare ranges from a savoury big brekky (scrambled tofu, chickpea fritters, plant-based sausages, mushroom duxelles, hash brown, grilled tomato and avocado with sourdough) to sweet croffles - a cross between a croissant and a waffle served with caramelised banana, mixed berries and coconut ice-cream.

Lunch-type fare includes BBQ jackfruit burgers and burritos, a yellow curry with mock-meat chicken and organic tofu, and Tempting Tempeh - a flavour-filled Thai salad (cherry tomatoes, cucumber, capsicum, corn, red onion, snap peas, mint, coriander, and cashews) topped with grilled cajun tempeh and drizzled with green chilli dressing.

Tasty small bites or snacks are smoked salt seasoned fries served with vegan sriracha mayo, 5 spiced mock duck spring rolls, and the highly-recommended crumbed cauliflower, or shroom scallops.

Drinks wise, there's locally-roasted Fonzie Abbott coffee, pots of tea and refreshing iced teas including the bright, colour-changing butterfly pea iced tea.

Plus, there are cold-pressed juices, Italian sodas with fruit puree, and smoothies in scrumptious flavours such as Little Miss Sunshine (banana, mango, orange, pineapple and coconut water) or Berry Bomb (raspberry, stawberry, blueberry, kiwi, chia seeds and coconut water).
