Junior Curators: Mysterious Realms is a fantastic, new, free exhibition, curated entirely by young minds, showing at the Ipswich Art Gallery from November 25 to January 28, 2024.

Featuring selected works from the Ipswich Art Gallery Collection, visitors will be transported into imaginative realms, as this exhibition disrupts traditional curation with the fresh perspectives of the young curators.

Fourteen young people aged 8-14 years have crafted narratives using a selection of works from the art gallery's collection, encompassing media from painting and sculpture to ceramics and heritage objects.

Experience an art journey like no other as Junior Curators: Mysterious Realms unfolds through six playful storytelling realms, offering a unique and imaginative perspective.

Then visit the Children’s Gallery upstairs to experience Worlds of Wonder, an interactive exhibition taking inspiration from the innovative work of the Junior Curators. Be spellbound by interactive artworks and unleash your inner artist at the creation stations, where magical creatures and worlds come to life at your fingertips.
