Growing World

Fortitude Valley

GROWING WORLD HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.

This is less a shop and more a delightful nostalgic world of exquisite handcrafted toys - heavily populated with European puppets and stages, ornate dolls houses, carousels, lavish stage-worthy costumes, lifelike baby dolls and stuffed animals.

All of these creative props are complemented by a fantastic range of collector’s puzzles and maths and science based activities, while in a corner is a nook for perusing the beautiful collection of picture books.

Owned and run by a husband and wife team who carefully hand pick the toys and books from around the globe, they are always happy to give the full lowdown on anything in their store.
