GETTA BURGER HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.

Crowds queue at Carina's Getta Burger each week for what are arguably Brisbane's best burgers.

Owned and operated by Brent Poulter (mastermind behind mobile food truck That BBQ Joint), Getta Burger is a slice of America located on the corner of Creek Road and Zahel Street - serving burgers as big as your head with weekly specials like fall off the bone ribs, filthy fries and pie shakes.

Burgers range from classic cheeseburgers and bacon double cheese burgers to beef brisket and pulled pork; while Getta Pig Out - pulled pork, crispy bacon and double cheese smothered in That BBQ Sauce and topped with fries - is not for the faint hearted.

Side with an order of fries seasoned with smoked salt dust or if you're luckyand it's on the menu when you visit, do try the filthy fries - smoked brisket, pulled pork, maple bacon, grilled onion and melted cheese with mustard, ranch and That BBQ Sauce.

Other popular specials include coffee crusted beef short ribs, bacon melts with smoked maple bacon, peanut butter and jelly, tempura onion rings served with chipotle aioli and apple pie milkshakes made with a whole slice of pie, milk and ice cream with whipped cream on top.

Otherwise try an American soda like A&W rootbeer or Dr Pepper. Getta Burger caters for kids with Junior burgers - beef patty, cheese, mayo and tomato sauce.
