Valley Fiesta returns in 2021 for three epic nights, with more than 150 artists performing across 21 top venues from Oct 28-30, 2021 (the new Ekka long weekend).
Now in its 24th year and presented by Brisbane City Council, Valley Fiesta is all about celebrating Fortitude Valley’s best loved live music venues, each offering a program of Queensland’s hottest acts so music lovers can see their homegrown favourites on local stages.
The awesome line-up this year includes hometown heroes Hope D, rapper Nerve and Beddy Rays, along with Butterfingers, Camouflage Rose, King Stingray, Jesswar, DVNA, Selfish Sons, Voiid, Halfway, Nerve, Sixfthick, Jack Davies & The Bush Chooks and DJ DZ Deathrays.
As well as all of the fabulous music gigs happening across the Valley, the iconic Brunswick Mall will also transform into a Music Marketplace on Saturday 30 October, with vinyl swaps, vintage clothing, pop-up DJs and more. There are also a host of special Fiesta events from burlesque and dance pop to beer garden sessions, Halloween themed fun and block parties.
“There is no better way to revive our embattled music industry that to ensure the show goes on and Valley Fiesta will be a shot in the arm for our beloved music venues and artists who have lost their livelihoods due to snap lockdowns and restrictions,” said Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner.
“This year, the fiesta will fall on the rescheduled Ekka Friday long weekend, I want to see as many people as possible dedicate their long weekend to supporting our local live music industry."
