The Long Sunset

Canungra

As Queensland’s summer starts to mellow towards Autumn, the Scenic Rim will roar to life with The Long Sunset, Australia’s newest boutique regional music event on Saturday, February 12, 2022.

Set in the lush surrounds of Elysian Fields, Canungra – home of the Wangerriburra people - The Long Sunset will bring you a sweet program of Australia’s top acts and a basket-full of local gourmet food and art fare.

Heading up the main stage is Australian indie-folk royalty Angus and Julia Stone, appearing together in Queensland for the first time in almost three years. They'll be supported by Brisbane joy-machines Ball Park Music, psychedelic throw-back kids Babe Rainbow, and Hatchie, freshly back to her native stomping ground from New York City.

So get ready, pack a tent, and hit the road for a short drive from Brisbane, Gold Coast and Byron Bay to enjoy the majestic beauty of the Scenic Rim – just announced as one of Lonely Planet’s Top 10 places to visit in the world for 2022. This will be top-flight goodness of the highest order!
