Go on a musical adventure these school holidays when the Lord Mayor’s Children’s Program returns to Brisbane City Hall with a FREE performance of The Singing Chefs and Tub-thumping Orchestra on Wednesday July 3, 2024.

Lord Mayor's Children's Program, Brisbane

Ideal for children aged 5 to 12 years, this fabulous performance features all recycled materials and original music composed by Tsoof Baras and Rhonda Davidson-Irwin alongside percussion group, Sound Struck.

The fun begins as Mollie, played by Alessia Lily Monteverde and Chef Luigi, played by Michael Balk are preparing a surprise 70th birthday celebration for Grandad Oski, played by Roger Davy at their famous restaurant.

Just as the food is prepared, the musicians are booked, and the guests arrive, disaster strikes! Mollie and her friends save the day with the invention of the Tub-thumping orchestra, creating their own instruments out of everyday objects in the kitchen.

Don't miss the chance to witness this loud, tub thumping, action packed musical adventure and make lasting memories with your family.
