Dogs in the Schoolyard is a spectacular circus 'tail' for children aged 3-8 years and their families, making its world premiere at the Cremorne Theatre, QPAC from May 5-15, 2021.

The fun, modern fable combines storytelling, original music and amazing circus feats by Queensland's own Flipside Circus.

On a hot summer afternoon, the dogs in the schoolyard are clambering over each other, leaping, running, eating and playing, down by the fig tree at the bottom of the oval.

Here, where teachers seldom venture – everyone knows the rules, and everyone knows their place. But today things are different, the storm birds are circling, and a new dog has arrived…

The enchanting show explores themes of inclusion and exclusion, friendship, play, and resilience through the lens of young dogs’ experiences with other pups.

Combining sensitive storytelling and phenomenal circus skills, Dogs in the Schoolyard immerses young audiences in a world ruled by dogs and with unbounded opportunities for play!

*Groups of 4+ tickets - $29 pp.
