Huddled in a dimly lit shop attached to the old Petrie Terrace substation, The Vinyl Frontier is an intriguing collection of vintage mid-century modern furniture and homewares.

Individual furniture items of iconic design that graced lounge rooms in the 1960s, such as the Egg or Kone chair, Danish lamps, pottery, ash trays, retro telephones and all manner of light fittings are crammed into the small space.
