Indooroopilly Riverwalk

A stunning new 5m wide riverwalk and cycle way connecting  University of Queensland and Western Freeway Bikeway has commenced construction, to be completed by late 2021.

The riverwalk will offer a safe route from Twigg Street to the Jack Pesch Bridge and the Indooroopilly Rail Station, with additional connections to Radnor Street and Riverview Terrace.

The riverwalk will include a walkway, viewing platform and dedicated bike lanes as well as a new pedestrian and cycle crossing point to Coonan Street at Westminster Road.

From the viewing platform, residents and visitors will have access to sweeping views of the Brisbane River and the iconic Walter Taylor Bridge.

Once complete, the Indooroopilly Riverwalk will provide a high quality, separated two-way cyclist and pedestrian riverwalk that takes advantage of the outlook over the Brisbane River.
