Dinner at Neesh Bar
Take a seat in the front room with its original bay windows, pressed metal bar and candlelit tables or out back in the cosy covered courtyard and get set for a real culinary treat.
The food at Neesh is bordering on fine dining quality at cafe prices, with Chef's Lazy Banquet consisting of seven share plates including dessert for just $44 per person (minimum 2 people), while most of the eclectic a la carte menu is designed to share, with all dishes coming in generous portion sizes.
Start with some melt-in-the-mouth chargrilled lemongrass calamari, served with an Asian-style salad of fresh market greens, artichoke arancini with parmesan cream and dill, or spiced pakora (turmeric cauliflower, onion, herbs, chilli and cucumber labneh).
Also highly recommended are the duck pancakes with hoisin sauce, heavenly KFC (Korean fried chicken with sweet and spicy sauce), and the Char Siu pork belly bao buns with pickled veges, sriracha, chilli and coriander.
For Mains, there's juicy chargrilled steaks, slow-cooked pork belly, spatchcock chicken, fish and chips, and wood-fired roasted eggplant - all served with your choice of 2 sides. For something more casual, Neesh Bar do a cracking range of gourmet wood-fired pizzas topped with BBQ Pulled Pork, Peri Peri Chicken, or Hoisin Duck, as well as classic pizzas like Meatlovers, Margarita, and Hawaiian.
And for something sweet, try one of their delectable desserts: chocolate brownie with berry coulis and vanilla bean ice-cream, or cinnamon dusted churros with chocolate ganache and chantilly cream.
Neesh is fully licensed offering craft beer on tap and bottled, cider and ginger beer, a carefully curated wine list, and delectable cocktails such as Passionfruit Margarita, Elderflower Collins, Blueberry Mojito or Bahamas Lychee.
