Jugar Eat Play Drink

West End

JUGAR HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED IN APRIL 2024.

Jugar in West End is a stunning space the whole family can enjoy offering top-notch coffee, fresh seasonal fare with  Spanish flavour and a purpose-built play space for children.

Jugar West End

Located on Jane Street in the heart of West End, where the Colossos Reception Lounge once stood, this innovative venue is the brainchild of brother and sister duo, Corsino and Jenny, who saw a gap in the market regarding family dining options.

Jugar West End

Jugar (pronounced hwey-ghar) is Spanish for play and this well-appointed space provides a fantastic play zone for small children, while parents can catch up with friends and unwind with a well-brewed cup of coffee or glass of wine and enjoy delicious, seasonal fare in the beautiful dining area with luxe booths, banquette seating and pretty pastel pink chairs, or dine al fresco on the outdoor terrazza.

Lunch and/or dinner options consist of small plates of tapas such as manchego assada, grilled artichokes or mussels with apple cider glazed chorizo; and mains of chicken or fish tacos, seafood vatapa and pinchos de cordeiro as well as a selection of paella (seafood, chicken, vegetarian or chicken and seafood).

For sweets there's a choice of churros with dulce de leche and chocolate sauce, chocolate and caramel lava cake or rainbow ice-cream.

Of course, there's a dedicated kids menu which consists of small plates like pasta, mac and cheese, moo moo burger, fish and chips or ham and cheese pizza with a drink (apple or orange e juice or babycino) included,

Drink wise, there's locally-roasted Bellissimo coffee, cold-pressed juices, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages. Jugar is fully licensed with local and imported beer, a concise wine list, and classic cocktails like Margaritas, Mojitos, Mimosas and Aperol Spritz as well as sangria.

Good to know - Jugar provides baby change facilities in both male and female toilets.

Need to know - A fee of $10 per child is required if adults are just ordering a coffee and no food, otherwise the play area is free to use.
