Enjoy non-stop fun these summer school holidays at Museum of Brisbane - the ultimate creative escape for families looking to spark imagination and make memories, from December 13 to January 26. 

With hands-on sessions, inspiring teen workshops, behind-the-scenes tours and free activities for all ages, MoB is once again a vibrant hub of colour, creativity and discovery!

Highlights include bright and bold tote bag decorating inspired by the Stories You Wear: Magpie Goose exhibition, sparkling Dazzle Discs in the Fairfax Gallery, a design-your-own badge studio, guided teen workshops in printmaking and stop-motion animation, and special before-hours Magpie Goose Young Explorers Tours. Families can also enjoy classic favourites, including Clock Tower Tours and creative play inside the Micro Museum.

MoB Kids: Tiny Totes  13 December – 4 January, 10:30am–1:30pm, Studio, $5, suitable for all ages

Kids can decorate their own colourful mini tote bag inspired by Stories You Wear: Magpie Goose. With stamping, printmaking and plenty of creativity, they’ll take home a one-of-a-kind summer accessory. Drop in and create.

.Cut + Collect Badge Studio 5-26 January 10:30am–1:30pm, Studio, $2 for one badge or $5 for three, suitable for all ages

Kids can design bright, bold badges inspired by the Precious exhibition, celebrating their favourite objects and memories. Drop in and get creative.

MoB Teens: Printed Stories 17 December & 7 January, 2:00pm -4:30pm, Studio, $25 + booking fee, ages 10-15yrs. Bookings essential.

Teens can design and print their own statement tote bag with inspiration from Stories You Wear: Magpie Goose. Includes an exhibition tour, guided workshop and a take-home tote. BOOK HERE

MoB Teens: Micro Motion Makers 14 & 21 January 2:00pm - 4:30pm, Studio, $25 + booking fee, ages 10–15yrs. Bookings essential.

A playful stop-motion animation workshop where teens explore Micro Museum, choose quirky objects and bring them to life on screen. Includes an exhibition tour, guided workshop and a copy of their animation. BOOK HERE

Magpie Goose Young Explorers Tour Every Tuesday and Thursday (excluding 22 Dec - 4 Jan) 9:15am–10:15am, Gallery,  $15 + booking fee, ages 6–12. Bookings essential.

A special before-hours tour where young explorers discover vibrant patterns and stories inside Stories You Wear: Magpie Goose, then create their own inspired artwork. BOOK HERE

MoB Kids: Dazzle Discs - 13 December - 26 January 10am-1pm, Fairfax Gallery, Free, suitable for all ages

Kids can make their own sparkling suncatcher using glittering materials inspired by the Shimmer exhibition. Drop in and dazzle.

A Brisbane classic. Ride the heritage lift to the top of the iconic City Hall Clock Tower and take in sweeping city views!

Museum of Brisbane is a one-stop shop for entertaining kids of all ages these school holidays. Head into Level 3 of Brisbane City Hall to MoB where you can set your creative talents free!
