Spring is the perfect time to get up close and personal with Roma Street Parkland as lush lawns, new shoots and blooming bulbs turn the site into a gorgeous oasis.

Free Guided Tours are available every day of the week with expert volunteers sharing fascinating stories and revealing the inner-city haven’s hidden secrets. Choose from six different tours, each taking about 60-90 minutes at a gentle pace.

They’re free but wildly popular so you need to book your spot. Or, get the gang together and organise a personal Guided Tour for 10 or more people HERE.

Kick back and chill out at Brisbane’s ultimate backyard gig when The Sound Society brings country quartet The Long Johns and award-winning French-Balkan band Mzaza to Lakeside Lawn on Sunday 4 September from 11am until 4pm. The all-ages gig is free so roll out the picnic rug for a laidback start to spring at Roma Street Parkland.

Pack your snacks, grab a treat from one of the food trucks on-site or level up your picnic game by pre-ordering a delish hamper from The Garden Room Café.

Get set for a weekend of good times and great live music when Blooms & Tunes returns to Roma Street Parkland on 10 and 11 September. Summon the squad and settle in to soak up the sounds at Celebration Lawn. There are several fab acts every day from 11.30am to 5pm with THUMP, Dillion James Band and King River Rising on Saturday’s line-up and Bullhorn, Jason Daniels Band, The Lyrical and HEAVY WAX on Sunday.

Roll out a feast for your friends or stock up on tasty treats between sets from a variety of food trucks and vendors. The Garden Room Café is also packing gourmet lunch hampers, cheese boards and pre-booked high teas so order yours today.

Raise a glass to spring with the pop-up bar on site or bring your own drinks with Celebration Lawn licensed from 10am to 8pm provided visitors are 18+ and pairing their pale ales and Proseccos with something substantial to eat...MORE

Brisbane Festival comes to Roma Street Parkland when Multicultural Australia’s MOSAIC Festival teams up with Brisbane Serenades for a party to remember on Sunday 18 September. Immerse yourself in an exciting celebration of Brisbane’s diversity with performances and entertainment from 10am to 5pm.

The free, family event also features a Youth Space with interactive games, busking performances and children’s activities. Of course, there will be a global smorgasbord of cuisine to sample and savour while you enjoy the festive atmosphere.

The event runs from 9am to 2pm with over 20 stallholders, selling plants, pots and accessories to turn your home into a verdant sanctuary.

Celebrate spring every day at the iconic Roma Street Parkland. Don’t miss Spectacle Garden as it springs to life with more than 10,000 flowers in bloom this September.

The Garden Room Café is open daily from 7am to 3.30pm with a seasonal menu of meals and snacks or order one of its signature picnic hampers and enjoy an alfresco lunch any day of the week. Similarly, free Guided Tours run daily and you can secure your spot online.
