Lisboa Caffe

South Brisbane

Updated: Mar 26, 2026

Lisboa Caffe, famous for its handcrafted gourmet Portuguese custard tarts, can be found in South Brisbane.

After originally gaining a loyal following at markets across South-East Queensland, followed by a pop-up shop in Dutton Park, the Portuguese artisan bakery relocated its store to their sleek modern digs in inner city, where they've been keeping Brisbane well fed with their delicious tarts since.

The gourmet bakery is highly-regarded for its small batch Portuguese custard tarts made using traditional recipes with quality ingredients like cultured butter and organic eggs. The delectable tarts are perfectly crispy on the outside and gooey in the middle.

As well as traditional Portuguese custard tarts, there are Nutella custard tarts and almond tarts. If savoury is more your thing, there are delicious tarts filled goat's cheese, walnuts and honey, or chicken and herbs, plus sausage rolls.
