Wildflowers & Reading Hours is a charming children's book shop and cafe found in the historic row of shops on Latrobe Terrace, Paddington, a few doors down from Empire Revival.

The independent book store boasts a fantastic selection of fiction and non-fiction for kids from toddlers to tweens, including beloved classics like A Very Hungry Caterpillar and Madeline, plus Pig the Pug and Tashi, with books from much-loved Australian authors and internationally-renowned writers - Anh Do to Roald Dahl.

In addition, there's an array of adult books that range from parenting handbooks and self-care manuals to best-selling novels by the likes of Trent Dalton.

The cafe serves well-brewed coffee by Padre, along with Larsen & Thompson specialty teas, Budd sticky chai and hot chocolate, babycinos and pink lemonade, best accompanied by a delicious sweet treat like a double chocolate brownie by I Heart Brownies.

At the rear of the store, you'll find a super cute reading room furnished with rattan teepees where kids can enjoy storytime or just chill out with a book while mum or dad catch up with friends over a coffee.
