MerakGF is a gem of gluten-free cafe offering delicious GF fare including decadent handmade donuts and cakes. 

Located in Redland Bay, this local secret serves breakfast and lunch with a strictly gluten free menu, with non-GF and vegan options available.

All day breakfast fare ranges from Smashed Avo with sauteed mushrooms, spinach and feta, and Eggs Benny (organic poached eggs on GF toast with avo, spinach, mushrooms and hollandaise) to Big Big Breaky's: Omnivore, Vegetarian or Vegan.

Meanwhile, lunch options include wholesome wraps, rice bowls topped with Mediterranean, Moroccan or Mexican chicken and slaw, and GF burgers such as seasoned chicken with herbed potato, eggplant and sweet potato, or haloumi and sweet potato.

No visit to Merak is complete though without sampling one of their delicious homemade treats - free from gluten, wheat, yeast, refined sugars and preservatives. Available as a slice or donut, flavours include red velvet, lemon zest, sticky date, double-choc raspberry or stewed apple and caramel to name a few.
