Mi + Mian is a bolthole sized Bakery Lane eatery, serving up delicious Chinese street food and homestyle meals to those who venture off the beaten track to Fortitude Valley’s charming new laneway.
From the owners of popular Brunswick St dumpling house Fat Dumpling, Mi + Mian is a perfect spot to drop by for a quick bite for lunch, or dinner later in the week.
For those choose to dine in seating is al fresco on lacquered communal tables hemmed by pot plants, otherwise takeaway is available.
On the lighter side of the menu are pork or vegetarian Big Spring Rolls, Shandong Salads (healthy Chinese salads which change weekly) and Lu Bao - northern Chinese pan-fried buns (prawn, pork and chives or vegetarian).
For something more substantial there are Noodle Soups (Vegetarian or Shredded Chicken in slow cooked chicken broth) or Hu Shao – northern Chinese flatbread pies (pork and cabbage or chicken and snow peas) with salad.
Otherwise there’s a choice of Rice Bowls (home-style prawn fried rice or braised pork belly, grilled soy chicken or Mum’s crispy chicken with steamed rice).
