Rainbow City Play Barn

Hillcrest

Hillcrest’s Rainbow City Play Barn is an eye-catching indoor play centre with plenty going on to delight children aged 0-8 years.

Located within a large warehouse-style space, Rainbow City Play Barn boasts a mix of playthings to cater for the wide spread of ages.

The under 4s have their own fenced play zone featuring cute animal rockers, mini playground with slide, rollers, noughts and crosses, plus a range of varying-sized cars to cruise around in.

The main playground is a towering enclosed structure featuring ramps, rollers, nets, tunnels, a colourful ball pit, and plenty of things to climb up and over. The real highlight, though, are the twin slides, which send riders hurtling downwards at some serious speeds. Big kids – and little daredevils – are sure to love it.

Elsewhere there’s a jumping castle, comfy lounges to rest on, and even a book nook for those seeking a quieter play experience.

Food wise there’s a wide selection of snacks and meals (both Western and Asian) for adults and children, with popular selections including the chicken tender burger and sweet chilli chicken wrap.

Drink highlights include the Milo Dinosaur (an icy cold Milo drink topped with a mountain of Milo powder) and the deliciously sweet iced chocolate, coffee or mocha. There’s also a good selection of smoothies, milkshakes, coffee, and tea served by the pot.

Nice to know – Rainbow City has a dedicated party room and mezzanine level to cater for all your function needs. Off-street parking is also available.

Need to know – Socks must be worn in the play areas and can be purchased on site for $2.50.
