Saturday night fever has hit Ipswich since the opening of Oz Night Market, held every Saturday evening from 5:30 to 10pm in the undercover carpark of Booval Fair Shopping Centre.
With a focus on food, family and fun, you'll find food stalls from around the globe and family-friendly entertainment including live music, clowns and a giant jumping castle.
No matter your gastronomic taste, this multicultural market has something for everyone: French crepes and Spanish churros, Mexican tacos and Turkish gozleme, Jamaican jerk and American barbecue. There's curries, dumplings, woodfired pizzas and whitebait fritters while sweet tooths will be satisfied with fairy floss, chocolate brownies and Italian gelato. Even man's best friend is catered for with a stall selling gourmet dog treats.
As well as international cuisine, you'll find local vendors peddling fresh fruit and veggies, homemade chutneys and jams, woodsmoked salamis, handcrafted goods (from candles to clothing) and beautiful blooms.
