Amble And Adore

Camp Hill

AMBLE AND ADORE HAS CLOSED & BEEN REPLACED BY BILLY BAXTERS HOME DEPOT.

On a corner of the Martha Street precinct, an old white Queenslander is home to the charming Amble and Adore café and gift shop.

Cottage shop front

The owners, mother and daughter team Adrianna and Marianna Miranda have created a beautiful and very welcoming space where visitors can enjoy browsing quality homewares, accessories, essential oils and clothing.  On rustic handmade racks 100% silk pieces by ELM share space with items by Brisbane designer label, Renee Loves Francis. Giftware is also displayed on shelves, with an emphasis being placed on locally sourced items.

Antique fittings and furniture can be found inside and vintage 1930s lights hang from the ceilings.  Furniture from the previous business has been brightened up with chalk paint to deliver a fresh and rustic feel.

Clothes and homewares inside shop

Inside the cafe area a timber communal table, complete with fresh flowers, takes pride of place and is the perfect spot to catch up with a group of friends. Timber settings along the shady outside verandah and deck ensure that customers enjoy the view and catch the cool breeze from the street. Cane settings outside the window service are a great option for people with accessibility difficulties, although a small ramp will shortly be installed at the front entrance.

Amble and Adore

Being vegan herself, Adrianna ensures that there is something for everyone here with Gluten Free, Egg Free, Dairy Free, Vegan, Vegetarian, Raw and Clean food all available. When it comes to coffee, Amble and Adore use “Supreme” beans (previously known as “Cup”) whilst speciality tea (single origin Tielka) is served, along with Prana chai in two varieties. Prana Masala Chai is subtly sweet and highly recommended, whilst Prana Agave Chai is a great option for vegans.

Coffee in a jug with cup and sweet

On the menu you'll find choices such as Seasonal Berry Granola (vegan/gluten free), Toasted Bagels with yummy toppings, Whole Meal Wraps, Sandwich Bagels, Daily Soups and Salads. Proving to be popular in the sweets range is a raw Snickers cake and hard to resist are the dainty little lemon and coconut balls - both of which can be enjoyed without guilt as they each tick the boxes of some of those healthier eating options.

Slice of chocolate cake

In a nutshell - Take a while, amble, adore, relax in the cool breeze on the verandah and perhaps enjoy a honey chai with a side serving of guilt-free deliciousness.

Need to know – Children are welcome at Amble and Adore. Dogs are welcome outside, where their owners can place their order at the window and relax in the shade with their furry companions.

*On Tues to Fri from 6.30 – 8.30am takeaway window service only is available.
