Winterfest At Riverlife

Winterfest at Riverlife is an idyllic way to enjoy that most Brisbane of Brisbane winter treats – the Ekka public holiday, aka People’s Day. 

The action all takes place at Riverlife’s stunning riverside location in the heritage listed Naval Stores at Kangaroo Point. Here there'll be hot chocolate rum and delicious winter street food, live music and DJs to keep the party going.

Enjoy the boathouse-style heated venue with a deck for music provided by DJ Cliftonia (Future, Splendour and Falls Music Festival) by Shariffe live on sax and DJ Harry K (mastermind behind club nights including ONE and Fluffy).

For sustenance pop-up bars will be serving hot chocolate rum, mulled wine, hot apple cider and standard bar drinks, while blankets and heaters will be on hand to keep the winter chills at bay.

Meanwhile food stalls will be dishing up delicious Euro winter warmers, both savoury and sweet.

Nice to know - This year Riverlife have teamed up with Australian Marriage Equality to show support of equal rights for all, with $2 from every ticket sold going towards the fight for marriage equality.

Getting there-  A perfect hassle free way to get there is to take a Free Cityhopper ferry and get off at Thornton Street. Pick up and drop off point for cars is at the Riverlife Precinct, Naval Stores, Lower River Tce, Kangaroo Point.
