Blue Planet II

Presented by BBC Studios and Andrew Kay & Associates, this unique concert experience showcases the incredible natural wonders of our blue planet, projected in high-definition on a massive, state-of-the art 75 square metre screen, accompanied by Hans Zimmer’s original musical score performed live by the Queensland Symphony Orchestra.

This will be the first Australian stage appearance for Joanna Lumley, a much-loved British personality, best-known for her role as Patsy on the hit comedy Absolutely Fabulous and now host of her own riveting travel documentaries.

During the filming of Blue Planet II, BBC teams embarked on 125 expeditions, travelled to 39 countries and filmed across every continent and ocean; from icy polar seas and pulsating coral reefs to enormous kelp forests and the deep blue ocean.
