KOOKABURRA CAFE CLOSED IN JUNE 2019

Kookaburra Café is a convivial family-friendly pizza and board games bar in Rosalie Village, a new incarnation of the long-time Paddington institution.

A welcome to addition to this lively eating precinct, Kookaburra Café makes for a great all-ages casual night out, with families, couples and friends gathering over board games with a drink and bite to eat.

True to its name, Kookaburra Café serves the original menu of much-loved thin crust pizzas as the original along with lasagne and salad and burgers and desserts including tiramisu, sticky date pudding and lemon meringue pie.

Pizza toppings range from the popular (ham & pineapple, pepperoni and supreme) to the specialty (bacon, banana & chilli, capricciosa, Mexican and napolitana), chicken (tandoori, BBQ and sweet chilli) and smoked salmon to a small selection of vegetarian.

As well as the pizza tradition, Kookaburra Café also brings the impressive array of board games from its time as part of Sosay Board Game Café, with everything from vintage faves like Mousetrap and Snakes and Ladders to Lord of the Rings, Trivial Pursuit and Game of Thrones.

In a nutshell – More than a restaurant, Kookaburra Café is a great affordable night out for couples, groups of friends and families who want to keep the kids off the screen.

Nice to know – On Friday and Saturday nights there’s live acoustic music.

Need to know – Gluten-free bases for an extra charge are available in small size pizzas only. Takeaway is also an option, with home delivery an extra on Friday and Saturday nights from 5-9pm.
