Buddina Off Leash Dog Park

Pt Cartwright

Updated: Jan 11, 2021

Pt Cartwright Reserve is not just a must-visit for its spectacular Sunshine Coast views but it also happens to double as the fantastic after hours Buddina dog park.

Either park the car at the Pt Cartwright end of Pacific Bvd (or, if hills are no problem, at La Balsa Park on Harbour Pde).

From the Pacific Bvd carpark (which also has toilet amenities) it’s a short and lovely walk on a paved park through bush to the Beacon Lighthouse before arriving at the sloped dog park reserve to the north, which is dotted with memorial benches (great spots to enjoy a sunset bottle of wine) with views to the northern beaches.

Alternatively head up the hill from La Balsa Park on the harbour side and stake out a bench while your dog has a ball sniffing and stick fetching.
