Kuhl-Cher Coffee on King Street is Bowen Hills' uber cool go-to for specialty coffee and first-rate food. 

This inner-city roastery café features industrial chic decor with concrete floor, timber trim and copper bar.

Coffee is roasted onsite, from boutique blends to single origins. Coffee connoisseurs can pull up a stool at the dedicated Brew Bar and sample small batch brew, filter coffee, cold brew, cold drip or pick up a bag of beans.

The concise seasonal menu includes breakfast fare such as açaí banana smoothie bowls with housemade granola, chia seeds, roasted coconut and fresh berries, croque monsieur (shaved leg ham and cheddar cheese with house made truffled béchamel sauce on toasted sourdough) and salted caramel waffle stack with milk jam, peanut butter ganache, chocolate soil, popcorn praline and ice cream.

Otherwise, there are breakfast specials like the Kuhl-Cher breakfast burger with bacon, fried egg, housemade relish and aioli on charcoal bun.

Lunch offerings range from pulled pork tacos to top-notch burgers - Kuhl-Cher burger (bourbon braised brisket with bacon, cheese and smoky bbq sauce) and RNA Chook burger (confit chicken, haloumi, hummus and tabbouleh); while a cabinet is filled with fresh sandwiches and salads to grab and go. 

Besides coffee, there are teas, HRVST cold pressed juices, frappes, smoothies and milkshakes.
