Tt Diner
Archerfield
TT DINER IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
TT Diner is a bonafide 1950s style diner found in an unlikely location on Boundary Road in industrial Archerfield.
Located adjacent to the brand new Trade Tools building, this retro-themed eatery and bar was built to resemble an old-fashioned Queensland pub from the outside.
Inside, the diner has been fit out with custom-made bright blue booths and checkerboard flooring. The brainchild of Trade Tools owner Greg Ford, the diner was created partly to showcase his extensive collection of antique tools, vintage guitars and motorcycles.
Not just burgers, breakfast fare is served until 10:30am. There’s smashed avocado with feta cheese and house made dukkah on sourdough, eggs benedict with thick cut honey mustard glazed ham, baby spinach, poached eggs and house made cider hollandaise, and stacks of buttermilk pancakes with whipped maple butter and Canadian maple syrup.
After 10:30, it’s burger time. Burgers of the World include the classic TT cheeseburger (with pickles, baby cos, tomato and onion), Queensland burger (tasty cheese, egg, bacon, baby cos, beetroot and tomato), Canadian beef burger (with cheese, maple glazed bacon and Baby Ray’s barbecue sauce), Greek lamb burger (with deep fried haloumi and tzatziki sauce) and Kentucky southern fried chicken burger (with coleslaw, barbecue sauce and aioli). Add a side of thick cut chips, sweet potato fries or fresh green salad.
Drink wise, there’s Aromas coffee, tea, soft drinks, milkshakes and thickshakes. The diner is licensed with a good selection of local and international beer and wine.
