West End

Sweet As Brisbane Dessert Festival, dedicated to all things sweet (with savoury options), returns to Musgrave Park at West End for 2 fantastic sugar-filled days on Saturday, September 14 and Sunday, September 15.

Presented by The World Food Markets, this drool-worthy festival will be dishing up dessert for breakfast, brunch and lunch with waffles, chocolate, cheese, coffee, cupcakes, brownies, doughnuts, gelatos, sorbets, popsicles, ice-creams, macarons, marshmallows, meringues and much more from some of Queensland's best dessert makers.

More than just desserts, some of Brisbane's best street food vendors will be on hand dishing up delicious fare from Mexican to Malaysian and everything in between.

For festival-goers with special dietary requirements, there'll be lip-smacking gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free and vegan meals and desserts.

Take part in an ice-cream eating comp or watermelon eating contest, plus Brisbane's Best Amateur Cake Decorator will be judged with the winner receiving $500.
