One of Australia’s classiest young entertainers, singer and piano player Frances Madden and Band, return to Brisbane's Doo-Bop Jazz Bar for a dazzling dinner show on Friday, June 21, 2019.

Frances Madden & Band, Doo-Bop Jazz Bar

Described as Australia's rising star of jazz, blues and ballads, this talented pianist, singer and songwriter plays to sold-out shows at leading jazz venues and festivals around Australia. She has also supported international artists on tour including Dionne Warwick and Grammy Award-winner Gregory Porter.

According to jazz legend James Morrison, “Frances has a wonderful feeling for jazz and blues standards but what makes her a real stand-out are her original songs and her unique style.”

For one night only at Doo-Bop, Frances will captivate the audience with her genuine, warm stage presence as she performs a mix of her own enchanting blues, ballads and swing, as well as timeless classics in her unique style; together with a stellar, six-piece line-up including some of Brisbane’s best jazz musicians.

Nice to know - Frances' soon-to-be released second album of predominantly original tunes, will without doubt help bring jazz-influenced music back into the mainstream. The album has been produced by ARIA Award-winner Chong Lim AM, who also produces for John Farnham, Olivia Newton-John and David Campbell.

Need to know - Doors open at 6:30pm, show starts at 8pm
