COPADO HAS CLOSED ITS MACQUARIE TERRACE BAR IN MAY 2018 AND IS RELOCATING TO AN ADDRESS TBA.

Copado is a modern bar with old world charm in Teneriffe, occupying the cellar next to its partner restaurant, The Dalgety Public House, on Macquarie Street.

The industrial style bar is decked out with wine barrels, ambient lighting and plenty of wine and high end spirits. There is booth seating as well as bar seating, ideal for both intimate dining or drinks with a group.

Diners can watch the sous chef in action, as his impressive charcuterie machine lies on the end of the counter for all to admire.

Copado Teneriffe

True to its Spanish name that means 'copious', Copado's menu is hardly small, with an incredible list of elements for designing your own charcuterie, as well as share plates. Diners can order a Signature Board which features copious amounts of authentic nibbles put together to make the perfect charcuterie.

Copado Teneriffe

Each ingredient on the charcuterie menu has been carefully selected for Copado, featuring only the finest, bona fide ingredients for diners to indulge in, including an aged cheese that matures within a cave surrounded by the outdoor, mossy elements (it's bespoke and to die for).

Otherwise, diners can create their own platter, with a massive range of meat, tinned fish, pate, cheese, salumi, olives, pickles, preserved vegetables and even sweet treats.

The menu also features some homely munchies such as jaffles, toasties and their Wool Store Signatures that includes a fanciful version of sardines on toast.

Copado Teneriffe

As expected the wine list is lengthy, featuring a curated selection of unique wines sourced from around the globe and served straight from the barrel. Asahi is on tap, with a large range of bottled beers and cider also available.

Copado Teneriffe

Copado also knows how to use a shaker, creating some delightful cocktails that feature some of their top shelf spirits.

Need to know - Street parking is available.

*Opening hours correct at time of visiting in July 2017.
