Step back in time at The Heritage Hotel, a two-storey restaurant and function centre located at Old Petrie Town.

The welcoming verandahs at TP's Restaurant & Cafe are a popular place to enjoy a breakfast, brunch or lunch within The Heritage Hotel.

TP's Cafe serves DiBella barista coffee as well as a range of Twining's teas, juices and milkshakes. The bar is fully licensed, serving a selection of local beer and wines. Some items on TP's Cafe menu include berry pancakes, or a big breakfast, as well as a signature Steak and Guinness Pie, Classic Parmigiana or Haloumi Salad for lunch.

The grounds of The Heritage Hotel encompass 48 acres of parklands, housing a heritage-listed chapel, restored cottages, and 300-year-old fig trees which set an especially romantic backdrop for weddings. There are also many beautiful and unique photo opportunities within the park. (All photography sessions can be booked through the office Wednesday through to Saturday on 3285-5934).

On Sundays, be sure to take a wander around Australia's oldest hand made markets, Old Petrie Town Markets, when the streets of Old Petrie Town are filled with vibrant color and plenty of hand made, local products to take home.

Good to know - The Hotel also boasts 3 separate function rooms. The Distillery is a working rum distillery, located off the main verandah of the hotel, which provides a unique backdrop for cocktail-style functions. The Pioneer Room is a barn-style function room which is very popular for weddings with large sweeping verandas. The third is The Heritage Room and located on the second floor of the main hotel, which boasts beautiful lighting fixtures and wooden floors. To book a viewing of the rooms or enquire about packages, contact the office Wednesday to Saturday or online.

Need to know - Car parking is available onsite. The parklands are dog-friendly (dogs must be on a leash at all times).

In a nutshell - Popular venue to enjoy Sunday brunch or lunch followed by a wander around Old Petrie Town Markets, or for dining, weddings and events.
