Laidley Spring Festival is bringing plenty of colour, creativity and kid-friendly fun to the Lockyer Valley, with a packed program of free activities for little ones.
From meeting Bluey and Bingo to getting crafty, playing in a bubble-filled playspace and meeting local wildlife, there’s plenty to keep the kids entertained throughout the festival.
Little ones aged five and under can enjoy a morning of hands-on activities, interactive play, creative stations, live entertainment and special appearances at Under 5s Day! Families can also connect with local community groups, while a quiet, sensory-friendly space ensures everyone can enjoy the fun. The free event takes place at Laidley Recreational Reserve on Friday, September 11 from 9am to 12pm.
Bluey fans won’t want to miss Bluey and Bingo taking to the Main Stage for a free interactive show filled with music, games and audience participation, including Magic Asparagus, Magic Xylophone and Keepy Uppy. Catch the beloved Heeler duo at Laidley Recreational Reserve on Saturday, September 12 from 11am to 11:20am.
The Spring Gardening Fair is another great stop for families, with free activity bags for kids, seed giveaways and free face painting. It’s the perfect opportunity for little gardeners to get creative, get their hands dirty and embrace the colourful spirit of spring.
Then on Sunday September 13 from 9am - 1pm, head to Forest Hill for Bee Happy Day, a free morning of bee-themed crafts, face painting, a Bubble Playspace, dancing with Move & Groove Dancers and a Wildlife Meet & Greet.
With free activities, interactive entertainment and plenty of ways for little ones to play, create and explore, Laidley Spring Festival is the perfect excuse to get the family out and enjoy a spring day in the Lockyer Valley.
