Sum Sum in South Brisbane is a modern Vietnamese fusion restaurant blending bold flavours with a warm, intimate atmosphere.

Crafted by Chef Aaron, whose French culinary background and travels across Asia, including a Michelin-starred experience in Japan. the menu showcases an impressive selection of dishes.
Start with their oysters topped with pickled cucumber, salmon caviar and finger limes which are unforgettable and presented beautifully; pan-fried scallops with bourbon butter and tomato salsa; or banh mi (house-made bread with dip and marinated olives).
Their delicate kingfish sashimi with fresh grapefruit is also a highlight and its freshness will leave you wanting to come back for more as will the habachi wagyu skewers. Each dish is designed for sharing - so be sure to tuck in with a group of friends.
As for mains, their menu boasts a rich blue swimmer crab pasta and perfectly juicy organic-fed ginger lemon half chicken, both of which are highlights, along with aromatic Jungle Duck Curry. Every dish is thoughtfully crafted, combining fresh ingredients with vibrant Vietnamese influences.
As for dessert there's 'banh flan' (Cointreau creme caramel) or dark callebut chocolate panna cotta.
